I was about to get off the train
and a guy handed me an old bus ticket saying I dropped it.
I took it and was like “Sure” I even thought I might of
because it was from the same bus company I use

But the ticket said $3.50, mine is normally $1.70
So I thought he had just made a mistake.
I was going to scrunch it up and throw it out in the bin
but as I was walking along the train platform
it just occurred to me to check the back of the ticket.

He had written ‘you’re beautiful’ on the back c:
It was just sweet.
Normally I hate compliments,
and throw it back in someones face,
because they usually suggest something else
but this was just a sweet no strings attached compliment
from a guy who was just taking a chance,
probably too shy to say it to a girl he would most likely never see again.

I thought it was cute..
